The Collected Works of Harriet Beecher Stowe (CWHBS) has commissioned Wesley Raabe to edit My Wife and I; or, Harry Henderson’s History (1871), one of HBS’s post-war society novels, volume 16 in the series. Raabe is Associate Professor of English at Kent State University and a specialist in scholarly editing and digital publication. He currently serves as the Textual Editor of CWHBS and is the volume editor for Uncle Tom’s Cabin, CWHBS vol. 1, which is currently in production at Oxford University Press and has been awarded the designation “Approved Edition” by the Modern Language Association’s Committee on Scholarly Editions. He is also editor of the letters of Louisa Van Velsor Whitman, mother to the poet Walt Whitman, which is published on the Walt Whitman Archive.
